that United Kingdom Poker Championships (UKPC) resumes its activities after a break of almost five years, and the roofing team PokerNews is on the field to cover the Main Event £560 buy-in for £500,000 guaranteed from UKPC from “shuffle up and deal” to the future champion being crowned.
GGPoker and Dusk Till Dawn have come together to revive the popular UKPC. Two online Main Events will be held at GGPoker on January 7th and 12th, and the first of three live Day 1 will take place in Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham on January 13th.
For those who can, online satellites from just $1 is underway at GGPoker, while live satellite specialists can try to win a £560 seat in the many £80 Main Event satellites taking place at Dusk Till Dawn at the start of the programme.
Main Event players sit down with 200,000 chips for blinds of 30 minutes for each day 1 and 40 minutes for the final day on January 16th. Day 1 of the Main Event, which is played online, follows the same structure, except that the blinds increase every 15 minutes.
Each day 1 ends when only 15% of players are still in the competition. The top 15% of players advance to Day 2, guaranteed a minicash. With £500,000 guaranteed to be shared, there will be plenty to win.
