The heavy economic context, between the aftermath of the pandemic and the consequences of the war in Ukraine, somewhat penalizes the financing of start-ups in all sectors. The same is true in insurance, but in fairly measured proportions.

The deteriorating economic conditions has a mechanical effect on all start-ups and other growing SMEs/ETIs: to grow further, they must convince increasingly demanding investors. Result: the pace of fundraising and other mergers and acquisitions has dropped significantly in recent months.
