Info and prices

The first Italian Grand Prix in Formula 1 took place in 1950 and in 72 editions the event failed only once in Monza to go to Imola in 1980. In seven decades of the world championship, the bottom of the Monza circuit has not developed enormously, except of course with the addition and modification of the chicanes, mainly for safety reasons. The layout of the circuit with oval, a certain idea of madness, was used in the mid-1950s and early 1960s.

The Monza circuit, which is 5,793 km long and consists of 11 turns, has offered its current configuration since 2000, when the first chicane was redone. It is a speed circuit par excellence, with four long full loads, two slow chicanes that encourage overtaking and more technical sectors (Lesmo, Ascari and Parabolic, now called Curva Alboreto). In the race, you must drive 53 laps, for a total distance of 306,720 km.

Forecast

Given the current forecasts, it is the rain that will welcome the small world of Formula 1 in Lombardy. However, the chance of precipitation during the sessions is relatively low and skies should be fairly sunny throughout the weekend. As for temperatures, they should be around 24°C to 26°C during all weekend sessions.

Next race: Singapore Grand Prix (October 1-2)
