The high priestess of minimalism, the American Marie Kondo, has perhaps also been emulated in the field of new technologies. This is the first thought that comes to mind when faced with the Surface Laptop Go 2, the new portable PC worn by Microsoft.

The small sanded gray aluminum shell does not shine with the superfluous, mainly in terms of connectors. Headset jack included, the computer has only four ports: a USB-C 3.2 port compatible with charging, a USB 3.2 10 Gb / s port and a Surface connect port that serves as a charging port.

But it is in use that this elegant device shows its full power and is more than enough for office automation (Windows 11 is pre-installed) or to watch a few series in streaming.

Equipped with a bright 12.4-inch touch screen, the Laptop Go 2 offers a Premium design (four colors are available) and excellent working comfort.

It is in use that this elegant device shows its full power and is more than enough for office automation or for watching a few series in streaming.

For this second version (purists speak of the Go 2 as a minimal version of its big sister released in 2020), Microsoft has selected an 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor accompanied by 4 or 8 GB of RAM and a 128 or 256 GB SSD. The computer also has an improved HD camera, secure Hello login.

And who says laptop, says computer that can be transported everywhere. The Surface Laptop Go2 weighs a little over a kilo but it is above all its dimensions that make it an all-purpose device: 27.8 cm wide and 21 cm deep. Folded up, its thickness approaches two centimeters. Easy to store it in a bag. Its autonomy is around ten hours.
