It’s the second Tuesday of the month and Microsoft is rolling out a new security update for all of its products, including Windows 11. This month’s release goes live for Windows 11 build number 21H2 and carries build number 22000.1098. The latest incremental release contains a host of improvements and changes, read on to learn more about Windows 11 22000.1098 update.
Microsoft is seeding the new version of Windows 11 to eligible PCs with build number 22000.1098 (KB5018418). As always, the security update requires a small amount of data, this month’s patch weighs in at around 425MB on ARM64-based systems and 309MB on x64-based systems. Speaking of changes, Windows 11 security update brings performance improvements for IE mode, widget improvements for notification badges, ability to enable HDR with stylus, touch keyboard stay open when switching between applications, changing display modes when using multiple screens with confidence, thanks to the new improvements. The update fixes the app reinstallation issue after the upgrade and also fixes the DST adjustments in Chile. Along with the aforementioned fixes, the update also brings the update security patch.

It’s already available for many users, this version is being released, you can just open the Settings app then head to windows update click check for updates in case it doesn’t show you no new updates, once you see the update click download and install.
