Microsoft France inaugurates a new Microsoft AI School by Simplon with the Lannion CCI – News Center

With the support of the region and Pôle emploi, the project brought together 9 partner companies – Crédit Agricole Côtes d’Armor, Eco counter, Hoali, LaboceaNokia, Orange, SaootiSF2I, Voxygento support the digital transformation through the training of 18 job seekers.

An ecosystem of partners involved in digital training

At the heart of an ecosystem of 10,500 partners, start-ups, associations and ISVs, Microsoft supports the digital transformation of public and private organizations in the region. Microsoft France has partnered with Simplon to offer training in Artificial Intelligence free for job seekers which will be operated by the CCI, a leading training player in Lannion.

Accessible without diploma prerequisites, the Microsoft AI School by Simplon aims to support innovation within the local digital ecosystem by contributing to the training of new talent. By offering inclusive and professional training within the 9 partner companies, Credit Agricultural Côtes d’Armor, Eco counter, Hoali, LaboceaNokia, Orange, SaootiSF2I, Voxygen, the IA School wishes to answer the growing need for digital skills in the field of artificial intelligence. The training gives access to a professional title registered with the RNCP of “Developer in artificial intelligence” level 6.

Artificial Intelligence within everyone’s reach

Coming from varied personal and professional backgrounds, the 18 learners of the first class of the Microsoft AI School by Simplon in Lannion are welcomed to the premises of the CCI during their 7 months of intensive training (from October 18, 2021 to February 9, 2022) . To identify potential candidates and go beyond the usual recruitment criteria of experience and qualifications, Pôle emploi relied on the Simulation Recruitment Method (MRS), based on the skills needed to occupy a job position.

Convinced that the development of digital skills in companies is a major challenge, Microsoft France is continuing to open its schools throughout the national territory to meet the needs of local companies. Since 2018, more than 700 learners have been trained through programs operated with Simplon.

The objective is to train nearly 1,000 learners by the end of 2022 to respond to job opportunities generated by Artificial Intelligence.
