Windows 11 2022 Update (22H2) is a huge update. We’re tired of recommending it because of its many new features and the performance improvements that come with it. However, as usual, the print service and a Windows update came back to do their job.
Windows 11 22H2 puts an end to the printer drama
Windows 11 22H2 had issues when adding new printers and existing printers were also stuck in default settings. Aware of these bugs, Microsoft has suspended the release of this update until further notice.
Now, finally, those of Redmond claim to have put an end to all this inconvenience and invite us to make the jump to Windows 11 2022 Update (version 22H2). IT administrators and engineers should no longer have to worry about running this update on the computers they manage.
In any case, if after the update you continue to experience problems of this type, we remind you that it is possible to uninstall an update. To do this, you will need to go to Settings > Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall updates.
Windows 11 2022 update was the first and last major update for Windows 11. Now we will only get small quarterly updates (in addition to monthly patches) until 2024 when this will be the turn of Windows 12.
