a busy month of October!

The month of October that opens today will be a dream of geeks. Hardly a week will go by without a tech event!

The beginning of autumn is a good time for lovers of technology and new products. And this month of October, which begins today, will be no exception to the rule, with several events organized by the biggest manufacturers. It will start strong with the “Made by Google” presentation on October 6th. On this occasion, the search engine will unveil the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel Watch.

Priority to Google

The content of this conference is no mystery, the products having been “pre-announced” in May, during Google I/O. That being said, we still know very little about new smartphones, just like about the connected watch. This will be watched very closely, it is indeed the first to be entirely designed by Google. The manufacturer will surely benefit from the know-how of Fitbit, acquired in early 2021.

As for the Pixel 7, we know that they will run on Android 13 of course, and that they will benefit from the new generation of Tensor chips, also developed by Google. There will already be plenty to talk about, but quickly since from October 12, it will be Microsoft’s turn to lift the veil on new products in the Surface ranges!

The rumor mentions a tablet / hybrid Surface Pro 9, as well as a laptop Surface Laptop 5. These two new products should work with 12th generation Intel processors (probably the Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U). The Surface Pro could be offered with either an Intel chip or an ARM chip.

Finally, the month of October will also be marked by the launch of new versions of iPadOS and macOS (Ventura). Apple would take the opportunity to organize a keynote: we are indeed expecting new MacBook Pros and iPad Pros. But the manufacturer could just as easily launch these laptops and tablets by a more traditional route, without a special event.
